The Southeast Propane Alliance Technical Education Center (SEPATEC) recently announced the successful completion of the 2024 Summer Term Propane Service Technician Course, producing four highly skilled professionals poised to make significant contributions to the propane industry.
GRAHAM, NC—The Southeast Propane Alliance Technical Education Center (SEPATEC) recently announced the successful completion of the 2024 Summer Term Propane Service Technician Course, which produced four highly skilled professionals poised to make significant contributions to the propane industry.
Among the graduates is Garrett Smith, a dedicated employee at Dixie LP Gas. His exceptional performance in the course demonstrates his readiness to take on the role of a proficient Service Technician.
Additionally, Skye Marchman, a former Army Fuel Delivery Specialist, completed the course with honors and is eagerly anticipating her husband’s return from a combat deployment so that they can both pursue opportunities in the propane industry.
Another graduate, Andy Reyes, a retired Navy Combat Engineer, is excited to apply his military background and skills gained at SEPATEC to make a meaningful contribution to a propane company.
Furthermore, Wesley Wilkinson, an experienced propane professional from North Carolina, attended the classes to enhance his knowledge and industry certifications, signaling his readiness to take on greater responsibilities within the propane sector.
SEPATEC’s Director of Education, John Peña, had this to say about the graduates: “The 2024 Summer Term Service Technician students were a pleasure to host, educate, and watch excel as they diligently navigated through the course material and all training requirements to earn six propane industry certifications. Though a small class, this group was special, consisting of two former military service members, a current propane employee, and a former propane employee who took advantage of our comprehensive courses to become a better asset to his next propane employer.”
