STN Expo, presented by School Transportation News, showcases the latest news and innovations in student transportation. At this year’s STN Expo West in Reno, Nev., three Green Bus Fleet Awards were presented to transportation directors in recognition of their propane school bus fleets.
A crowd of over 350 attendees joined a panel session, moderated by PERC Director of Autogas Business Development Steve Whaley, where panelists shared how their school districts have experienced success with propane buses. On display at the Expo was a propane-powered electric vehicle charging system from Propane Fueling Solutions, charging buses used in the ride-and-drive demonstration.
