>WASHINGTON – The Propane Education & Research Council (PERC) is hosting “Renewable Propane and DME,” a new webinar, as part of its Propane Presents Technology Series beginning at 2 p.m. Eastern on Thursday, October 27, 2022. The upcoming webinar explores a few best practices for offering renewable fuels in a business offering.

PERC’s director of research and sustainability, Gokul Vishwanathan, will be joined by Douglas Dagan of Suburban Propane, Warren Patterson of UGI/Amerigas, Christina Grabo of Blue Star Gas, and Leslie Anderson of the Propane Gas Association of New England. Together, they will discuss how their companies are finding success in implementing renewable fuels in their energy portfolio and how renewable fuels will help keep propane relevant in the national and global sustainable energy conversations.

“The demand for renewable fuels will only increase in the future,” said Vishwanathan. “It’s important we understand how to talk about renewable propane and renewable DME. We want to demonstrate how marketers are offering it to their customers to effectively grow the industry and have a market share against other renewable energy options.”

PERC’s “Propane Presents Technology Series” focuses on new and emerging propane technologies, tools, education, and best practices to approach the ideal customer. Hosted and facilitated by PERC, in partnership with various OEMs and industry partners, the series aims to showcase various propane products across multiple markets, answer questions directly from the industry and end-users, and provide relevant resources and training information.
