Last week Tucker Perkins, President & CEO of the Propane Education & Research Council visited New York for a Reuters Global Energy Transition conference and an interview with TD Ameritrade Network’s “The Watch List.” His message on LinkedIn regarding the trip is here along with a link to the interview below:
“Last week, New York City was inundated by smoke from the Canadian wildfires, resulting in orange skies and some of the worst air quality the city has ever seen. Against that backdrop, I was in Times Square, speaking on a panel at the Reuters Global Energy Transition conference about how to clean up heavily polluting industries, and how propane and renewable propane are reducing emissions in key markets like power generation and transportation.
The next day, I went downtown to the New York Stock Exchange for a live interview on TD Ameritrade Network’s “The Watch List” to discuss expectations for the energy market during upcoming summer months. The national energy conversation is increasingly centered around the need for clean, reliable energy in all forms, and propane and renewable propane are stepping up to meet that need.”
