The Propane Education & Research Council recently recognized five companies for their efforts to promote propane during National Propane Day activities. National Propane Day was October 7, 2023.
National Propane Day Grand Prize Winners Selected
Thank you to everyone who submitted event descriptions and photos for a chance to win one of five National Propane Day grand prizes from PERC. Here are the five winners, along with descriptions of their events:
Propane Plus hosted a fall-themed customer appreciation event.
McMahan’s Bottle Gas hosted a tailgate-themed customer appreciation event.
CHS Inc. hosted a tailgate.
Proctor Gas hosted a week-long celebration with a fall festival, grilling for local police department, delivered Energy for Everyone branded napkins to a local restaurant.
Rhoads Energy hosted cookouts at all locations.
Each winner will receive $1,000 courtesy of PERC to put toward a company party. Congratulations to all!
Apply Now for the 2024 Leadership in Energy
Ambassadors Program
PERC invites propane marketers to apply for its second group of Leadership in Energy Ambassadors in 2024. We are looking to identify individuals across the country to join the 44 energy ambassadors that were inducted into the program in 2023 and play a key role in telling propane’s story.
This educational program provides critical content, competency development, and tools to inspire our industry members to become ambassadors for our energy in the national energy conversation. The select group of individuals who will be accepted into this program must seek nomination from their company CEO or owner, agree to pre- and post-meeting work, and be enthusiastic about the opportunity to engage with their communities and other industry colleagues.
