Recently, NPGA Chairman Tom Van Buren posted comments and pictures on LinkedIn regarding recent visits to Summer events around the country:
People Proud! Propane Proud! My NPGA Chair visits continued this last 3 weeks with FL, TX and Pacific (WA,OR,HI,AK) Propane Association annual meetings. The constant was seeing so many incredible leaders and companies working to impact their customers and communities better and have a little fun along the way. Like sports, competitors on the field, passionate for the sport overall! Safety and training were highlights at all and was great to see folks engaged and active. It was motivating for example to see at FL the most popular session the Safety/Tng/Codes session, and it was the earliest mtg in the day!
The State Execs Dale Calhoun, Bill Van Hoy, and Matt Solak with their teams put together great overall programs and thank you for your hospitality! Their committment to Propane working to promote and protect all we do is incredibly appreciated! Want to recognize the Association President’s James Harris w/Blossman, Jim Reddington w/FEI, and Allen Wells w/Baygas who’s service and dedication to our industry has been exemplary, THANK YOU! Allen shared a heartfelt story after recent Hurricane Beryl about competitors coming together (w/McAdams Propane) for the 
greater good taking care of customers needing Generator fuel with the Grid issues and other Emergency needs. People stepping up when it matters most is always Inspiring! About 450 people for the TX show, which is huge, TX always goes Big!
And most recent stop in Alaska, Rinnai and PERC shared new product and training information as we innovate for the future, and an AI discussion by Marci Ballard – yes AI and Propane! Energy Choice legislation was forefront and while being able to spend some time with Jeff Stewart of BlueStar Gas, our immediate past Chair was a personal highlight.
Lastly I shared a picture of Randy Sams being recognized for his lifelong contributions to the Propane industry. Long time NPGA Board of Directors member and
FL State Association leader. A FL business owner who truly represents Service! Great people, Great industry!
