A subsidiary of TerraVest Industries, Mississippi Tank Company was founded in 1945 and is headquartered in Hattiesburg, MS with an additional location in Vincennes, IN. For over 75 years Mississippi Tank Company has provided quality service, workmanship, and products for the LPG industry, and is a major supplier of custom fabricated pressure vessels for the Petro-Chem Industries and of LPG/NH3 storage tanks and transport trailers.

Transports:

A Complete Tank Trailer Repair Service – Our services include all NDA examinations, hydrostatic testing, calibration, ASME welding and alterations, sandblasting and painting.
14,550 gallon East Coast Special Propane Trailer with tri-axle suspension to take advantage of increased weight laws that allow bigger pay-loads in several states.
17,750 Gallon Propane Trailer equipped with six axles to allow huge payloads under Michigan’s high gross weight limits.
5,600 Gallon Insulated Co2 Trailer with optional stainless steel jacket. Custom-built units are available in various sizes with a host of options, including self-unloading systems, metering systems, various running gears, custom painting and much more.
6,850 Gallon Refrigerant Gas Trailer equipped with optional gasoline-driven unloading system, microfiltering system and inert gas pure upon delivery.
Certification – All transports are designed and constructed in accordance with United States Department of Transportation and Federal Highway Administration regulations and the ASME Code. We are registered with DOT for the design, construction, testing and repair of MC-331 trailers and maintain U and R ASME certificates.

Bulk Storage:
Our standard bulk storage tanks are equipped with threaded coupling openings, with flanged openings available upon request. The exterior of our standard bulk storage tanks is power tool cleaned and finished with one coat of Sherwin Williams Macropoxy 646. In addition, our standard underground tanks are blasted and coated with 16 mils DFT of Sherwin Williams Targuard(R) Coal Tar Epoxy. We can provide other paint systems and options at the customer’s request. All of our design is done in-house, including our CAD calculations, allowing us to do custom work and larger designs. We also provide shipping anywhere in the U.S.
