From the National Propane Gas Association Bobtail
The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) has now completed seven rounds of highway designations under the Alternative Fuel Corridors Program, which seeks to build out a national network of refueling corridors for alternative fuels, including propane. This round, autogas refueling corridors were expanded in Arkansas. Since the program began, 38 states have received federal designation for autogas refueling corridors. These corridor designations are especially impactful because under the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, the U.S. Department of Transportation will provide grant funding opportunities to deploy more publicly accessible propane refueling stations along these designated routes.
NPGA has produced data sets on every ready and pending autogas corridor that has been designated, to date, in each state. These data are available under the Fight Electrification section on the Member Dashboard. For more information, contact NPGA’s Director of State Affairs, Jacob Peterson at firstname.lastname@example.org.
