Company’s 40th acquisition strengthens EDP’s footprint in Southeastern Pennsylvania
EDP has purchased Green Propane and its sister company, Summit Propane. With a headquarters office in Hatfield, Pennsylvania, this latest acquisition – EDP’s 40th – strengthens its footprint in southeastern Pennsylvania and increases its presence in the Poconos.
Both Green Propane and Summit Propane have been owned by Todd Walker. The company’s employees – with a combined 90+ years of propane experience – have all joined EDP. Todd Walker commented, “As I considered my plans for retirement, I wanted to be confident my employees would be well cared for and my customers would continue to receive safe, friendly, and reliable service. Those are the key reasons I chose EDP, and I am confident I made the right choice.”
According to Thomas Knauff, EDP’s CEO, “We are very pleased with Todd’s decision to choose EDP when it came time for him to retire.
